Love the location, decor, friendliness of the staff, and afternoon sherry and biscochitos.
Amazing breakfast--and it was included in the room price; size and decor of room; afternoon sherry hour; friendly staff
Road noise was excessive at times but the room was well-insulated otherwise
It was very convenient
For the price, I didn't think it was worth the convenience and the room was pretty standard with a Southwest flair. Nothing special. Again for that price, I would have expected more luxurious bedding and a large bathroom. It was tiny!
Great location and ambience. Would be cool to have the in-room fireplace going in colder weather; we were there in July. Very central location, making walking Santa Fe very easy, even up Canyon Road.
Convenience to Santa Fe Plaza and restaurants. Excellent complimentry breakfast.
Could not get internet access in room.
Very convenient to plaza, could easily walk to shopping, tours, restaurants, etc. Great breakfast buffet included, and the bar/restaurant turned out to be popular/convenient, too.
Soundproofing may be an issue in some rooms. Limited shade around pool.
Walking distance to the centre of town. The 4pm drinks brings guests together and fgets you chatting with folk. Breakfast is great.
The breakfast buffet was an unexpected perk. It was so delicious with many choices; we looked forward to starting our day in the dining room.
The hotel is located next to two busy streets, so it was a bit noisy during the day. No problem with street noise at night. Santa Fe "shuts down" at a pretty early hour.
We always stay at Inn of the Governors. It is very charming and the rooms are lovely and well appointed. It is right near the Plaza in Santa Fe and really a perfect venue for people to enjoy the town and the shopping. Sherry and biscuits when one arrives are lovely too! And the breakfast? Fabulous buffet.
Bathroom at this stay was very cramped and tiny. I have not had that happen on other stays at the hotel
The breakfast is excellent and the hotel is kept beautifully clean.
The noise level is pretty high, but that has to do with the motorcycles and the loud reverberating car radios and nothing to do with the hotel. It just lowers the quality of the stay at this location.
The room was very comfortable-loved the robes. Breakfast was very good-lots of choices.
Easy access to all the restaurants and shops. GREAT breakfast. Staff is always very helpful. Pleasant experience. There have been many upgrades to the rooms and hotel. Very nice job.
The heat was not turned on at the time I stayed. This has happened in the past. It turned out fine. I just used another blanket and it was fine. The staff offered to bring a space heater.
The position of the hotel was superb, it was immaculately clean and served an excellent breakfast. Sante Fe is a lovely place to spend a few days, and although thehotel and staff might seem overpowering when you get to know them they are very down to earth and could not do enough to help.
The room was spacious, and the staff extremely helpful. They went out of their way to be sure they could answer our questions and guide us to the spots we wanted to go in Santa Fe.
There's not much to complain about, that's for sure. I guess the one frustration we encountered was that the wireless was extremely slow. Sometimes we were able to access the internet faster using the St. Francis connection, but both were ploddingly pokey.
We had a very good stay. The hotel staff was great and it is well located.
The airconditioning either did not work, or it wasn't really an airconditioning unit and it was really just a fan. Either way we were warm at night whne we used the unit.
